After a wild night out, the best way to avoid a nasty hangover is to make sure you’re hydrating with water and electrolytes. Drinking water before you go to bed and throughout the next day is essential to make sure you’re getting the hydration you need to recover. If you can, try adding electrolyte drinks like Gatorade to your routine to make sure your body is getting everything it needs.

Avoid sugary drinks and caffeine.

If you want to avoid hangovers after a night out, stay away from sugary drinks and caffeine. Sugary drinks like soda and energy drinks are loaded with sugar and caffeine that can cause dehydration and further damage your body. They can also give you a quick energy boost, but in the long run, it won’t help you recover from a night out. Stick to plain water and natural juices instead.

Eat a healthy, balanced meal.

Whether it’s going for a run, taking a yoga class, or just sitting in silence and focusing on your breathing, any sort of physical or mental activity can help clear your head and make you feel better. Trust me, I’m an 18 year old and I’ve definitely learned the hard way that a good sweat or meditation session is the best remedy after a night out.
